Do you hold my Stripe keys?
Your choice. Use Stripe Connect (OAuth, we never touch your keys) or paste your own API keys — encrypted with AES-256-GCM if you prefer that model. You can switch or revoke anytime.
What cut does Handoff take on payments?
Zero. Money flows directly between your client and your Stripe account. Only Stripe's own processing fees apply, paid directly to Stripe.
What if a client needs a custom domain?
Each client gets theirname.handoff.tools. Custom domains aren't in v1 — but the branded subdomain is enough for 99% of freelance engagements.
Do my clients need to sign up?
No. They get a link, pick a sign-in method (magic link, password, or 6-digit code), and they're in. Nothing to install or remember.
Can I try it without giving a credit card?
Yes. The Free plan supports one active client forever. Upgrade only when you're ready to add more.
What happens if I cancel?
